As the title says these are work-in-progress, meaning very unfinished and far from final, screens to give you some idea of what we're working on and what different places might look like:

I see a bloodbath in a slaughter house in outer space (aka The Ship) was not enough to eradicate believers in the proverbial free lunch (aka gamblers).

You know, a preacher of the Church arguing against this particular vice next to the betting booth would be a nice touch. With many potential candidates itching to slit his throat from ear to ear but a little concerned that the Church might, after all, actually care about the poor fool and ask around about him.

Looks better. One thing I'd add to the betting parlour would be $ signs or the equivalent in this new world <-- Ah, see what I did there ?  Panic

They recycle to get raw materials.

If you're asking about 'wear and tear', it's always the final art pass.

I have my doubts - would all these glowing signboards be translatable?

They are actually a text render, so you can change the text, font, size, etc.

Wow, I'm pretty thrilled with the progress pictures. They look really good and atmospheric to me (and I like the style, generally); who've seen the sketch art previous to actual WIP. Keep up the great work!

I have finished AOD several times after initial release and I enjoyed it very much. The engine wasn't the best, but the dialogue options, choices how they affected the plot, and events. They were really memorable in my opinion. The character you created did also affect hugely, how you could play and solve things - I like that (unlike whereas you could do everything with any kinda character, despite the build). Combat was fun, too, though brutal. I'd have to say that as a whole experience, AOD has been one of the most memorable RPG moments for me in a looooong time (probably post-2000s). It was fun. Also enjoyed Underrail quite a bit, but that's about it.

Really looking forward to this game. Smile
