It looks interesting. It's not that it's something revolutionary new, but it's got some potential in generating game worlds and imagery, and in porting classical games to modern resolutions

A pixel artist is supposed to choose every pixel so that the whole evokes the right image in your mind. He deals in illusions, not photorealism. That skilful effect is lost when your machine smears the marine's face into a pink poop.

There is another image blending 'neural network' that I just adore, Ostagram. It really does create pieces of art based on other pieces of art
