We are working on expanding the weapon selection a bit, trying to include some interesting, less typical "specimens". Here I´ll show you some of the new additions to our arsenal.

Let´s start with the Antelope Axe:

In the pictures below, you can see the finished model with the different variations in metal we have in AoD, ranging from Bronze (weakest) to Meteor (hardest).

Blue steel is the in-game name.

Oh. Anyway, as always you've done a great job, Oscar. I would try threatening to leave the project unless Vince increases your share, if I were you.

Yeah. I've felt that AoD is rather lacking weapon models... Great Job Oscar! Will the antelope axe have some special, disctinctive feats. or will it behave like an ordinary 2h axe in the game ?

We have 28 unique, visually distinctive models.

Like an ordinary axe. It's a flavor item.

Looks pretty good. Although the wood looks a bit dry, like it could snap easily. In the real one it has a much "firmer" look.

It's magical wood from the enchanted forests of Elvandar. THINK before you post, ok?

I could do without the antilope head myself, but the axe is pretty nice overall.

PS:

You may want to add coloured tassels though, so we can tell them apart more easily!  Wink

Heh. Grin

Well, as a matter of fact, I made the cloth handles in the Blue Steel one more white. Maybe I´ll darken the wood a little too. It might look to similiar to the steel one.

I also made them red in the case of the meteor axe, but just because it looks cool.
