Hello.

Based on info provided in another topic i made  an Excel sheet that calculates starting skill
values based on Stats that you input.

If dews change anything regarding skill calculation i will update it.

Bye

Oscar: Uploaded a version in xls format, plus some small changes (Intelligence bonus calculation plus removal of points from starting skills and gained points to see how much you spent).

Wened: This new version is supposed to be compatible with Beta2

Skill points in violet boxes are a rough estimate of what You can get in the demo. I suppose we wont know how many SP there is in full game without some confirmation from devs.

I hope it works as intended. If not, please report it in this topic.

Looks good, thanks. You could also add a cell for Starting free skill points (Int x 2) next to Stat sum. And a cell for bonus SP derived from Int (e.g. x0.4 for Int 10)
Also, Disguise formula is absent.
(click to show/hide)

PS: also, I think it would be easier to open if it were .xls instead of .xlsx

What? How i do that?

Also i added most of the features You asked for. So download Version 2.

Only thing i haven't added is this Int modifier for gained skill points.

According to Oskar now it goes like this:

Every 20 points you get...

5 Int = 1 point
6 Int = 2 points
7 Int = 3 points
8 Int = 4 points
9 Int = 6 points
10 Int = 8 points

I have no time to ponder this now. Will probably add that later today.

The file type. I think .xlsx is for the latest version of MS Office, but many people don't have that.

I have this excel for free (open office) so i guess anyone can get it to.

If someone wants to change filetype to more common one and repost it here
please feel free to do it.

Any ideas how to calculate this new int bonus in excel?

Any ideas how to calculate this new int bonus in excel?

Use this:

=IF(E2=5,(K2*1.05),IF(E2=6,(K2*1.1),IF(E2=7,(K2*1.15),IF(E2=8,(K2*1.2),IF(E2=9,(K2*1.3),IF(E2=10,(K2*1.4),K2))))))

I could max 4 skills with int of 10. Interesting.

Back then, when we had 300 point range, charisma was said to reduce maximum skill level that was needed to pass all skillchecks. Does it still work now?

Actually, there is something wrong with this calculator, since it doesn't include skill costs into the equation...

Version 4 finished.

It properly calculates skill values over 50 and 75.
Might be hard to use for color blind people.
Please report if something works not as it should.

Have fun.
