At this point, Dead State can be considered feature complete; Dead State: Reanimated was the last major content update for DS.  We might still see some bug fixes but any new/additional content is unlikely.

If they ever do cycle back for that "closing time" patch, could you give us some heads up? There are definitely some tweaks that I would recommend, particularly with the Lloyd ending.

Just realised that the Devs haven't been online for over a year (except for Brian - nearly 8 months in his case).

I hope we see more from the team in the future, perhaps a sequel or reimagining of Dead State? I know I'd feel happy about backing them on kickstarter (or fig) if they decided to go with the crowd funding route again.

Brian wrote some stuff for the new Torment game.  While he was doing that, Annie worked on a visual novel called "Panic at Multiverse High!".  This was a side project based in the same setting as their next game, which is what they are currently working on, a new jrpg-style game called "Panic in the Multiverse".

I'm liking the art style and humour there. Not a big jrpg fan, but I'll be following with interest Smile

I enjoyed the demo and while 20 bucks isn't a lot of money I was curious before I bought it if this was a project that has been retired or could we hope for upgrades/expansions?

If you mean Dead State, than the game is complete and there are currently no plans for upgrades or expansions.  Nothing is impossible but the chance of an expansion or sequel anytime soon is very unlikely.
