1, Arm/leg attack debuff formula derived from fast, not normal attack?
The formula for arm/legs attacks regarding how much debuff is applied is based on the weapons AP. According to my minimal experimentation that value is derived from the weapons fast attack, correct?

For example for the skeggox I got a 15% debuff for leg attack but the normal attack AP is 5 and going by that it would be a 20% debuff as far as I understand the formula.

2, Is it possible to improve existing armors/weapons or only create new ones from scratch?
Reading the F1 info regarding crafting made me think that it was possible to improve existing items with techniques but in game it is only possible to create new items.
So a weapon you find from loot or by from a merchant will never be able to be improved by crafting except for whetstone, correct?

3, Dodge vs Shield
So the big difference between dodge and shield is the starting level where shield starts 15 points higher right? So you have to invest 1.5 more levels in dodge to get the same number as the shield skill.
Since both get the armor penalty from armors/shields/helmets.

In addition shield get some kind of ranged bonus but dodge always avoid all damage on succesful roll and has a chance to counterattack.

Since shield takes up a hand (pretty big) and often add more negative stats dodge seems better to my newbie eyes.
According to the in-game text on character screen dodge is a worse choice when wearing heavy armor but I fail to understand why that is the case since both dodge and shield gets the exact same armor related penlties. Is there something I am missing?

What threshold (fairly new player)

Will there be Twitch vods for this playthrough? Noticed you don´t have that function activated at the moment (I think due to there being no past broadcasts or Highlights saved)

With each skill in the game, there are certain perks that unlock with each milestone. When you get to the third rank of Mechanical, one of those perks is a discounted cost on the building materials required for shelter upgrades. I learned this after I finally got mechanical 3 while in the middle of building the final upgrade. :-/ Suffice to say, it's a bit of advice that I've given to friends before they start the game.

ok ty! Misunderstood. Is it really a must though? How significant is the bonus? I am playing on PC Infected and Hardcore. Am on day 2.

Mechanical 3 is a must - start capitalizing on that lower cost threshold immediately.

Why is the game not in the steam featured list or in the big banner that show cases new games? This is worrying as the game will not get enough exposure.

it is neither on the feature list nor the new game releases list for me (sweden). I do think eu is some times lagging in this regard though.

Hitbox Team has written an interesting article regarding the sales figures and financial performance on their first game, the independently developed "Dustforce".

(It is not a RPG. So if this is the wrong place to post feel free to move or delete it. I just thought it is a rare insight in this subject and I think people interested in Iron Tower games probably will find it to be a worthwhile read.)
