I have noticed that some of you are from different countries, and I was wondering where some of you are from. I live in NSW in Australia. Google it and have a look.

From Argentina, in San Isidro, a city in the Greater Buenos Aires.

Moved the topic to General Discussion.

Personally, I'd like to see pics of where people live too.

For me, I live in Durban, South Africa. We're the favoured beach/surfing/holiday destination in South Africa. Cape Town is a prettier but the chill from the cold sea means our beaches and weather trumps theirs.

I live in a small town called Höganäs, which is located in the southern part of Sweden. It's a pretty pleasant place with an interesting history, used to be a mining town and it's got a great little harbor. It's a wonderful town during the summer (if it's a good summer), the sea breeze is great and the coastline is quite beautiful. It's awful during winter, with horribly cold winds.
I quite like it here (it's where I grew up) but I'm looking to move into a slightly bigger city.
Couldn't find a good overview picture but here's part of the harbor in winter.

My apologies for breaking the flow of beautiful pictures of nice cities/towns in advance  Evil

Korso, Finland. Part of the Finnish Capital region.

In this picture we can see:
- An elderly person with a 12-pack
- A KORSO t-shirt
- An ambulance in the background

Alcohol in public, bad clothing and ambulances... Yeah, that sums up my home town quite well.

Thankfully the place has been improving for some time and it isn't as bad as it used to be, but it still carries a certain ... notoriety ... among people in the helsinki/vantaa area. Wink

I'm from Bury, about ten miles north of Manchester, England.  I'd show you pictures, but I can't be arsed taking any and most of them would probably not be work safe.  England is not as civilised as it once was Sad.

I envy all that snow. It rarely drops below 15 degrees here.

Beautiful photos people. I especially love that shot of Malta, love old churches.

NY, USA.  I don't think photos would be particularly elucidating Grin

I live in Israel, in an ancient (Bible Times) city called Lod, not for from Tel-Aviv.
Here's a picture not for from my house which show the St.George Church and the great Mosque.

The city has about 30% Arab population, but I'm not one of them Wink
