How to use the GenderVars.

Example1 - let's translate the phrase "You see a <man/woman>"

You need to combine the two phrases*:
Vous voyez un homme
Vous voyez une femme

into a single one:
Vous voyez un</e> <ho/fe>mme

So, you must create 2 new GenderVars:
</e>
<ho/fe>

Also, you may need an additional GenderVar:
<Ho/Fe>
If the word is in the beginning of the sentence.

Example2 - let's translate the phrase "It is his <brother/sister>"

And again, you need to combine the two phrases*:
Il est son frère
Il est sa sœur

into a single one:
Il est s<on/a> <frère/sœur>

Again, you must create 2 new GenderVars:
<on/a>
<frère/sœur>

Again, you may need an additional GenderVar:
<Frère/Sœur>
If the word is in the beginning of the sentence.

We're stuck to translate some lines in SF glossary, and specially for some alchemy components:

Quicksilver roots: what is this plant ? For quicksilver, SF found "hebe", but we're not sure, as I also found "althaea" that could lead to Marshmallow  which is known as a herbal medicine Huh?

The same for Emoryl Root: shouldn't it be Emoryi? Or maybe the "desert lavender"?

Kadura leaves.What is a Kadura? Google doesn't find anything. A tree/plant that is coming from Vince's imagination?

Thanks for your help guys  Salute

The 1st portion of game files is uploaded to the Google Drive, and ready for translation. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. Don't forget to read this file before you start the translation.

thanks Sunfire, I've mailed the important file to the team.

Can you check the last GenderVar I've created and tell me if they're right, both in their form and in the files where they have to be insert please. I'm not totally sure of myself.  Salute

Yw, sure, it's done already.
Btw, there is no need to translate the phrases, consisting of a single word like: None, End, Fight (witout .), or End - blah-blah-blah. They don't appear in the game.

More thanks, as it was still not clear for everyone  Salute

We're making good progress Grin

Sunfire, what happened to the "BLC_Fight_2.xml" file : there is nothing more for and after @33?

Nothing serious - there was a no-need-to-be-translated string, I'd just deleted it.

UPD. Is the translation completed?

Thanks Sunfire. I'm gonna check that Salute

Ardomir file, @ 18 : typo error: "realy"  Salute

Why some files have some {TEM}  strings? Do we have to translate them or is it better to wait?

It's better to wait. Those are waiting for the final text.
