Let me take your coat and answer a few question for you.

What is this place?
It's a depository. Duh! All the, like, knowledge of the universe will be here one day.

No seriously?
It's a place to read and discuss design articles.

What about the RPG Design forum?
That forum is a testing ground. That's where you bounce some ideas, debate them with other people, and build up your understanding of the subject. Once the process is completed and you are ready to present your thoughts to a large audience, you write an article and post it here. In other words, the Depository is a logical progression and conclusion of the RPG Design forum.

So, uh, anyone can post?
Anyone. Needless to say, I reserve the right to examine your article and move it back to the "testing grounds" should it fail to meet our standards. You can always show it to me first though.

So, why are you doing that again?
I'm what you may call an RPG enthusiast. I wish I could design games for a living. I wish I could work with and learn from other designers. While in large companies developers can learn from each other, in smaller, indie companies a developer lacks this exposure to other ideas and that's why I'm trying to build this design depository here.
